Cycling through life, with love as the compass
A lovely moment of calm.
In the garden with a book. A beautiful book. Highly recommended for those who dare to be touched.
(Broken Country)
In the little farming village where I now live, it is completely peaceful.
The only ones busy are the birds above me in the tree. They are chirping away loudly.
The cats of my French neighbour a few doors down are making love right next to me. The Portuguese neighbour is tinkering with his new car together with his son. And in the distance, I hear the gentle flow of our little river, the Attert.
Two Belgian cars pull into the street, sporty bikes are unloaded. They are our new guests for Céline’s Loft. I warmly welcome them. They are here to ride the Gravel Bike course in Vianden and hope to clock a good time so they can qualify for next year’s world championships. The men brought their wives along, who will cheer them on and provide water during the ride. Proud ladies.
The neighbour brings over a bottle of homemade wine. From Portugal. Cheers. To love.
The love for and with each other flows through the village, just like our little river...
Did you know we have two electric bikes for rent? Not for racing the Gravel Bike course in record time — but for a relaxed tour through Luxembourg’s beautiful landscape, with a picnic basket in your pannier? You are welcome.
